Adan Alipio: Mobile homes are not as sturdy as conventional homes. The fixtures and even the walls are not sound and abuse by renters will destroy them.
Lu Snide: You have pretty much the same expensive on a Mobile home, air conditioner, furnace, roof, siding, the typical things on a single family home. Just less yard to take care of. You mention about you buying it and renting it out, you would have to check with the park you put it in to see if you are allowed to do that. To get in a park you go through a credit check and some time a background check, so see if this is allowed before you purchase. Hope this helps
Salvador Prchlik: Yes and if you have never rented to anyone it is a pain anyway. Collecting rent in itself is sometimes a hassle. Mobile homes loose value too.
