Toya Braskett: my friend has samsung and he can control volume and channels excetera by his iphone, theres an app for it, i like the homepage on samsung to because it is nice and easy to use. :)
Lu Tiner: Check out www.SmartTvReviews.com. I like the Panasonic plasma for the picture quality myself. Keep in mind the apps come from third party vendors, so many will be the same no matter which tv you choose.As time goes on apps will get better, your picture quality will be the same.
Catheryn Barringer: Definitely Samsung. You can probably try Toshiba too. Their smart TV is pretty awesome as well.
