Jacques Teri: It depends on your taste, but the lavender and lite blue sound cool and relaxing. You could divide the room in half and have your sister pick out a third color (that co-ordinates somewhat with the ones you choose) and paint your half of the room your colors and your sisters half the other color. Or just go with the two colors. Pick a theme you both can agree on and go for it!
Clark Lachowski: stick to two colors, as you sleep in there, it should be relaxing colors, light colors yellow , cream, maybe you sister could help ,pick one out ,and help you paint it .
Jeannine Vassie: Maybe it would be a good idea to take your sister with you to a home depot or a walmart and look at color swatches. relaxing colors are neutral most of the time. like cream or a warm green. paint the trim white if you go with a darker color so the dark color doesn't make the room smaller. get creative! there's so much you can do with stencils and sponges or patter! ns. Coleman Petropoulos: Also, my sis doesnt care which color I or should I say we pick.. she likes anything.. I was also thinking of using those polka dot sponges from home depot.. what color do you think should those be (along with the other colors you choose)
Lewis Ranft: I would go with bright orange for the walls and black trim. And a black and white bed set with a cool pattern
Ulrike Hert: Paint it lime green and then paint a darker green palm trees over that green.from floor to ceiling.I did that with my grandaughters room,and she put hanging laterns over her bed like they were hanging from the palm tree on the ceiling,,and she put hot pink netting over her bed also hanging from a green hoola hoop,and draped it around her headboard..very nice. You can also paint a parrot on ! the wall in the dark green..looks very tropical,,,you can pain! t or find signs usually at the mall,to hang,,,posters with beach scenes......Show more
